NON-BANKING FINANCIAL, INVESTMENT, AND INSURANCE

APPLICATIONS STILL FACE OBSTACLES SJSN
National Social Security System (National Social Security System), it seems, can not be rolling in the near future. Because, so far, there are no guarantees about the sustainability of this program.

Kabiro Insurance Capital Market Supervisory Agency and Financial Institution (Bapepam-LK) Rachmatawarta Jesus said, National Social Security System should be able to ensure the program can survive. It should be clear 10 years from now if the costs can still be borne by our economy,

Understandably, the Ministry of Health predicts, for the National Social Security System program, the government must provide a budget of Rp 20 trillion a year to pay the premiums. Jesus warned, pattern of premium calculation is not to burden the budget. Should be compared with the gross domestic product (GDP). Suppose now 5% of GDP. Five years from now so what percentage of GDP. Do not ride too fast.

Another obstacle is about the same service guarantee for all citizens (deliverable). The program must be able to ensure policyholders get their rights. That is, if say there is no guarantee of heart surgery by a specialist, so everyone should be able to get it to Merauke. Not until there is a reason there are no specialist doctors there, then replaced the money.

Another matter is the matter of rights and obligations. If premiums pegged to a percentage of salary to get the same service, this will cause problems. Therefore, the salary of each person is different, therefore the premium paid is ultimately different. There must be no larger pay participants think he contributed so much to other people

In fact, social insurance does contain equality because there are subsidies. If the gap is too wide, a greater premium payers can no longer willing to join the program. They can think better just take out private health insurance.

Thus, the National Social Security System could not be considered simple. We also can not assess all health problems can be finished with this program. Do not let the system drop in a matter of years or as the Greek social security system was too over and it was hard for the economy,

Director of Social Security Sinaga Hotbonar same opinion. He said, the challenge is the financial capacity of State National Social Security System, harmonization of regulations, the scope of protection, and legal adjustments to the Social Security Agency Providers (BPJS).
Now, there are four companies designated as BPJS. Ie Social Security, Taspen Asabri, and Indonesia Health Insurance. All four were under the National Social Security Council (DJSN). The authority board must be greater. Do not let no one is watching BPJS.

DJSN not only coordinate and synchronize the program, but perform functions such as capital market regulator. If social insurance off the capital market regulator, there should be provisions unclear who would social insurance.

ALLIANZ INSURANCE ACCIDENT RELEASE GEEZER
PT Asuransi Allianz Utama Indonesia, late last month, launched a personal accident insurance product (PA) or a special accident insurance for customers aged or elderly. Insurance companies that have the parent in Germany this product Senior PA is entitled to meet market demand.

Despite great potential, Allianz did not set high goals for this product. Until the end of this year 2010, Allianz hopes to sell as many as 1,000 policyholders. The reason is because the risk of a Senior PA products is higher than other products.

Surely we apply the underwriting process more stringent. In the underwriting process, Allianz will see a prospective client's health history. They are also more selective to receive coverage.

ADPI Chairman Djony Rolindrawan added, KIK-EBA portfolio valued not yield desired by the pension fund. Most pension funds tend to choose a portfolio such as corporate BONDS, and debentures (SUN), which gives higher yields.

We have not included in eg the KIK-EBA because of its risk premium is too small. Also yields only about 1% above the GS with the same tenor.
President Director of BANK MANDIRI Gatut Dapen Subadio revealed, his party had not yet decided whether the year 2010 will begin exploring the KIK-EBA or not. KIK-EBA market liquidity have not spelled out. Intention to go there, but of course, risk, yield, and market into consideration.

There are still factors to consider to raise the composition. Can we raise, but will also depend on the interest, deception Sukiswanto.

SHARIA UNIT REVERSE, JAPRO NOT REVISED TARGET

Although no one has also obtained permission for the establishment of sharia unit, PT Asuransi Jaya Protection (JaPro) does not intend to change the target year 2010 was the acquisition premium. Director JaPro Prawiro Nicolaus said it was preparing another strategy to achieve these targets.

JaPro will boost health insurance premiums and adding branches. So we are not revising the target premium of Rp 800 billion in 2010, the

Problem establishing sharia units, Nico says, launching just waiting out the permission of the Capital Market Supervisory Agency and Financial Institution (Bapepam-LK). Management of all affairs are ready. Board of Directors and commissioners already fit and proper test. His office is also already there. Stay green light from regulators wait for it.

At first, optimistic JaPro can launch sharia unit last April 2010. Sharia unit will later be known as PT Jaya Takaful Protection. Now, JaPro not dare set a target when his company could enliven the Islamic insurance industry.

About health insurance business, this 2010 JaPro choose to focus on the consumptive nature of insurance business. If previously we were more often working on vehicles and property insurance, we try another business. We already cover the risk stuff, why not cover people with health insurance risk. Although the focus of work on health insurance business, Nico admit, this product will not give the dominant contribution to the target acquisition premiums in 2010. JaPro only target premium of Rp 50 billion from health insurance until the end of the year. While for most large portion of vehicle insurance reached 40%, followed by property insurance contributing 30% of total premiums and the rest from others.

Year 2010, JaPro also expands to add new branches. Recently, JaPro inaugurated an office in Kilkenny. The next expansion to Pontianak, Purwokerto, Solo, Tegal, Jember, and Manado. RUPIAH roll of the fold ANEKA TEXTILE FABRIC
Raw materials business has always been a fairly profitable business fields. Position as an intermediary between sellers of raw materials by producers of materials so this was as a meeting point both sides producers in upstream and downstream sectors. This also applies to textile fabrics business players.

Plain fabric to target business people engaged in the garment and fashion industry. Although located in the middle, does not mean the money that rotates a half-half.

Bagyo Sotopo, Marketing Manager of PT Kusuma Clothing Mekarjaya (KSM) in Sleman, Yogyakarta, admitted could rake in revenue of USD 8 billion per month. In that period, KSM can produce a variety of fabrics up to 2 million meters.

Actually, this figure is lower than last year's turnover. Bagyo mention expensive fabric yarn prices as the cause. Yarn prices rose 25% this year. He gave an example, the price of rayon yarn types which last year was USD 5.2 million per bale, now a USD 5.8 million. In fact, CBO does not just sell the cloth, but the processing threads to be woven.

Although the yarn price rise, claims can not participate Bagyo increase the selling price of different fabrics. Men 52 years of consumer rate KSM, including batik crafters, will not be able to absorb it if the price is increased.

Ayin just said, his business is a competitive constraint to offer the cheapest prices. While constraints Bagyo, in addition to rising prices of yarn, fabric products are competitive with China. In terms of quality, local products from China and there is no difference. But China's price of cloth can be more oblique. Labor costs and electricity costs us more expensive, said Bagyo.

Grow faster than INDIGO ORDINARY
Nila is one type of freshwater fish widely consumed by people in the country. Understandably, this sense of well-known fish meat is very tasty. Do not be surprised, if the demand for fish that actually comes from Africa continues to increase. This condition is seen as a promising business opportunity by the tilapia fish farmers.

In fact, in order to increase incomes, many farmers are trying to make marriage nila tilapia species which he cultivated. One of the pair inter-marriages between tilapia species, Tilapia SP. Results from this crossing of a new birth of indigo, which is Nila Gift.

Gift name itself comes from the acronym for Genetic Improvement of genetic improvement of farmed Tilapia aka Nila Tilapia aquaculture. This crossing technique developed by the International Centre for Living Aquatic Resources Management (ICLARM) in the Philippines in 1987.

From the testing result, production levels Nila Gift higher 30% -50% of local tilapia. ICLARM pilot fish is then distributed to 10 countries in 1993, namely Bangladesh, China, Côte d'Ivoire, Greece, Ghana, India, Malawi, Thai, Vietnamese and Filipino.

1000 TEACHER PROGRAMING FOR IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION

MORE GOOD TO QUALITY EDUCATION
Improving the quality of education becomes an urgent need and can not be put off no longer. Because, the quality of education is one of the factors that determine the future of this nation. If Indonesia want to be able to compete and become one of the country to be reckoned with at international level, like it or not education should be addressed.

Work to fix education in Indonesia is clearly not an easy thing. From the scale, the Indonesian education system is the fourth largest in the world, after China, India and the United States. World Bank report mentions, the Indonesian education system involving more than 50 million students and 2.6 million teachers in more than 250 thousand schools.

Of course too much to expect to be able to improve the quality of millions of students in a short time. There are many related factors. One effort that can be done is to improve teacher quality. The reason, teachers have a central role in the learning process at school.

In learning practices in schools in Indonesia, the teacher is a motivator and mediator for students to be able to learn effectively and efficiently. Teachers' role is to encourage more students to study hard. In this case, teachers are required to be professionals who have the ability to control the materials, methods, media, and assessments, as well as having a comprehensive knowledge of the subject areas taught.

In fact, these expectations are not easily realized. Research has shown, the professionalism of teachers, particularly at primary school level (elementary) still needs to be improved. Observations of teachers of mathematics, just mention an example, shows that teachers do not give priority to the creative activity that can develop students' thinking abilities, abilities that should be the focus of learning. Conversely, the more fun math teachers explain math concepts in the style of tutoring institutions with practical methods, rapid, and brief, but ignoring the aspect of creativity. Similar complaints also came for the learning science and Indonesian language.

Uapya that has been done to improve the quality of learning, among others, through cooperation between educational institutions, government, and society. Settling is also made to the legislation. Referring to the recent regulations in the field of national education, among others, Law No. 20 Year 2003 on National Education System, Government Regulation No. 19 Year 2005, to the Ministerial Regulation No. 22, 23, and 24 in 2006, the core teachers to act more actively prosecuted , creativity, initiative, and responsible.

Within that framework, one state-owned enterprises, namely Pertamina (Persero), in collaboration with the University of Malang, engage Millennial Teacher Empowerment through Teacher Quality Enhancement Program Integrated with Lesson Study. For Pertamina, were included in the Community Development activities that are part of the Community Development Partnership Program (CSR). This program aims to improve the quality of Indonesian education through quality teachers and professionals.

1000 PROGRAM FOR FUTURE TEACHERS
Success in educating teachers can be seen from the way of thinking and acting students. Not all teachers in Indonesia, including the category of teachers that work. For example, can be seen in some primary schools (SD). In fact, SD is the most important education to foster basic skills students.

According to Drs. H. Isnandar, M. T., IV, Vice Rector, State University of Malang (UM), the education it takes a huge investment. Moreover, 20% state budget may not be able to fix the educational needs of education in various sectors.

Seeing this, Pertamina activities for Community Development (BL) which is part of the Community Development Partnership Program Activities (CSR), namely Teachers Quality Improvement Program (TEQIP) working with the State University of Malang (UM). This program aims to promote education in Indonesia through qualified teachers and professionals.

Isnandar added that this program is a partnership beneficial to both parties. Pertamina's own UM trusted thanks to his experience in the field of education. Examples of training ever undertaken by the UM is Cendana Education Foundation in this town for about three years to develop kindergarten, elementary, junior and senior high school.

Pertamina 1000 program participants, held in Malang teachers are from the region around Pertamina's operation areas. Participants were selected from five provinces, 15 districts and 18 subdistricts. The five provinces are East Java (Bojonegoro, Madison, and Banyuwangi), East Kalimantan (Malimau, Penajam, North and Sand), NTB (West Lombok, Bima and Dompu), Bengkulu (Kaur and Rejang) and Jambi (Jambi Muaro and the Cape West Jabung).

Program which runs from April 21, 2010 until mid-December 2010 system features TOT (training of trainers). So, no teachers trained in all of 1000. But a few representatives who will be trained to become trainers. Then, they will convey the knowledge gained to fellow teachers in the area.

This program focuses on three subjects namely UN Science, Mathematics, and Indonesian. In total there are 108 teacher trainers from each province. They will be accompanied by approximately 18 supervisors in each district. So, in total there are 126 participants.

Technically the first TOT was the beginning of the training material in Malang for two weeks. Then, they'll On Going one, namely the practice in their respective schools during the two weeks. After that, they returned to training following the TOT 2 in the form of deepening the experience based on the On Going 1 for 2 weeks.

Then, they return melukan Going On 2. Here they began to design a program that has been obtained from TOT 1 and 2. Afterwards, one teacher trainers will teach nine teachers. Later, there will be a total of approximately 1080 teachers.

This empowerment leads to a primary school teacher with the consideration that the number of primary schools in Indonesia is very big. In addition, elementary education is the beginning of the estuary of the basic education of every child, said Isnandar.

Program UM TEQIP Pertamina is certainly a breath of fresh air amid the negative stigma of Indonesian education. Hopefully through these steps, can make a world of education in Indonesia is more talk in the world arena and student loan consolidation center

GLOBAL ECONOMY CRISIS

Joint US-China will
United States (U.S.) and China agree to strengthen cooperation ties the two countries and encourage the global economic balance. However, both countries had not yet reached agreement about yuan revaluation. As U.S. was encouraging savings and investment, China is also trying to change the model to encourage the growth of domestic demand and consumption, said Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner.

According to the U.S. Geithner, the State with the largest economy in the world and China is in third place, have the same interest to build a global financial system more stable and not prone to crisis. Innovation is well developed when the market opened, unfair competition, and no protection for ideas.

Geithner did not mention about yuan revaluation. He just said, in the global trade of all countries need to get treatment, risk sharing, and a fair profit.

Germany 10 billion euro budget cut
The German government is likely to take steps to cut its deficit budget savings. State budget cut was rumored to be around euro 10 billion or U.S. $ 13 billion per year until the next 2016 years.

Germany made the move to set an example for the member countries of the European Union (EU) is facing another budget deficit pressures. Germany also wanted to show that EU countries should be able to comply with EU budget deficit not higher than 3% of gross domestic product (GDP).

Reuters Financial Times quoting sources in the Government of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, reports, policies, budget reductions will take place from two sides. The first way to raise taxes. Second, Germany would reduce government spending.

Whereas before, the German coalition government has promised to make the issue of tax cuts as their main agenda. The main target of budget cuts is a lower subsidy policy. Include withdrawal of concessions and tax exemptions are already running, according to the Financial Times reported.

Until now, the Germans continued to press the user countries to focus on the euro currency to cut its budget. This State Government believes the budget savings measures is the only way for the EU to be able to return to calm market confidence against the euro. That's also the best way to avoid this area of the financial crisis.

The threat of economic crisis in Europe had brought fear among global investors. They assumed, United States (U.S.), Spain, and Greece are the countries most at risk of failing to pay debts (default). That was revealed by the investment firm Pacific Investment Management Co. (PIM), which manages the world's largest bonds fund.

According to Jhon Wilson, Head of PIM Australian unit, the company is currently selecting investments in emerging markets that offer higher return than the interest savings. Risk is also lower asset bubble and the greater capacity of government spending without a budget cut plan.

Emerging market investments are targeted, among others, Brazil, Mexico and Russia. Wilson said, although there is support from the EU and the IMF, the Greek ability to manage its debt is still very risky. Other countries are also at high risk are Ireland, Spain, France, USA, UK, Italy, Portugal, and Japan.
